What’s up y’all? We come to the end of our Ruth Bible study, a beautiful love story. It is, however, not just about Ruth, Naomi, and Boaz. It is also about our relationship with Jesus Christ. It is about our full redemption and the lengths the Lord will go to unite us with Him.
I pray that our entire Bible study on Ruth will inspire you to go in-depth at God’s word and bring you closer to the Lord.

Check out these episode highlights:
Chapter 4 is probably the shortest. It gets right to the point of Boaz finding the family redeemer and asking for his permission to marry Ruth
04:13 – Boaz finds the family redeemer and gathers the elders to explain the situation about Ruth
05:26 – An exchange that sealed the deal: the removing and giving of a sandal
06:44 – The genealogy of David is mapped out: Boaz and Ruth get married. Ruth gets pregnant. Everyone praises the Lord
07:47 – The evolution of Ruth is presented: from a foreigner to a servant maid to a wife.
Ruth represents a type of church. Just as Boaz purchased his bride, Jesus purchased his bride.
The story of Ruth is a love story; the romance of redemption. From there, we see what great lengths the Lord will go to bring us to Himself, to unite us to Him, and to make us part of His family. As Gentiles, we are never going to be His, the children of Israel. The blood of Jesus, however, still makes us God’s children.
08:58 – How the preparation of the study of Ruth impacted me
God does answer prayer. It might not look as you would like, but remember that He works on His timeline.
So when you are obedient and surrender and fully trust the Lord, there is a blessing. We see that in the life of Naomi and Ruth.
