Check out these episode highlights:
01.42 – Sometimes, we navigate relationships and “love” or “serve” others with ulterior motives, which leads to discouragement and depression.
03.44 – What is the center of your world? If your main focus is on your family, and they are the driving force behind your decisions, then you’re family-centric. If you are thinking about Jesus all the time, and He is the driving force, you are Christ-centered.
05.55 – Jesus set an example on how we should do relationships. (John 13:12-17)
12 When He had finished washing their feet, He put on His clothes and returned to His place. “Do you understand what I have done for you?” He asked them. 13 “You call me ‘Teacher’ and ‘Lord,’ and rightly so, for that is what I am. 14 Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another’s feet. 15 I have set you an example that you should do as I have done for you. 16 Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. 17 Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.
09.24 – How do you do relationships God’s way?
11.01 – My only tip for you today: Pray that the Lord would search your heart and reveal to you where you are walking unrighteously and [potentially] using love/service as a means to manipulate others to get on your agenda.
